Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University.
Emily has worked in community mental health clinics serving children and families with a variety of mental health and relationship concerns including depression, anxiety, behavior issues and tensions within families. She has also worked as a Certified Behavior Technician, providing behavioral interventions and implementing behavioral plans through the lens of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Emily works with children, adolescents and their families. She has a particular interest in working with adolescents who are exploring identity formation, identification of values, challenging family dynamics, peer relationship difficulties, meaning making, and working towards individuation.
Emily works from a Person-Centered approach and integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and other research-based treatments depending on each person’s needs and goals. She works collaboratively with each client to determine the best approach for them.
