
Kat completed her Master’s degree at the University of Washington as a part of the education program, specializing in Applied Behavioral Analysis. Prior to this, she completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Western Washington University. She has been a LABA since 2024. She earned her BCBA and LBA in the fall of 2025.
Kat has worked at Sendan Center since October of 2019. She started first as a certified behavior technician (CBT) in which she worked directly with a multitude of different clients up until she became a LABA in October of 2024. Kat has worked with ages ranging from 4 to 28 years old helping them build communication skills, adaptive skills, as well as self-regulation skills and many others in order to help each client live as independent of a life as they wish.
Kat primarily works with teenagers in both the school and home settings. She is passionate about providing assent-based services and making sure each of her clients builds the skills they need to advocate for themselves.
