
Amber graduated from Arizona State University in 2021 with her Master’s in Arts in Special Education, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis. She completed her Bachelor’s degree Family and Child Life at Central Washington University.
Amber has worked in the field of ABA since 2017. During her time as a Certified Behavior Technician, Amber worked at number of ABA clinics across Washington state. She has been at Sendan Center since January 2020. Amber has been a BCBA since 2022. Throughout her time in the field, Amber has worked with a wide range of learners, from age 3 to adult. She has experience working with learners on a variety of skills sets including social skills, communication, emotional regulation, executive functioning, adaptive skills and the reduction of intensive behavior.
Amber primarily works with school-aged children. Her focus is teaching behavioral and emotional regulation skills, increasing functional communication and decreasing intensive behavior. She is also passionate about teaching social skills and independence among the learners she works with.
