
Emily completed her Master’s in Education specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of Washington. She completed her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Western Washington University. She has been a BCBA since April 2025.
Emily joined the field in 2017 as a behavior technician and has worked at Sendan ever since! During her time as a behavior technician, Emily worked with a variety of learners, with a focus on individuals with intensive behaviors. As a BCBA, Emily has worked primarily with elementary-aged learners, although she has experience working with ages 4-adult in clinical, home, and school settings.
Emily is passionate about teaching skills through play, specifically around functional communication, self-advocacy, and increasing learner independence. She additionally has experience with assent-based feeding practices.
