Education and Training:

James earned his Master of Social Work Degree with a concentration in Children and Families in 2021 at the University of Denver in Colorado. He is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Colorado and a Licensed Social Work Associate & Independent Clinical in Washington State. When he is not in the office, he is usually biking, hiking, cooking, eating and spending time with his cat Gary.

Work Experience:

James has 6 years of practice experience working with children, families and schools. He specializes in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD and working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder. James has also worked with youth with substance use disorders and PTSD.

James works with children, adolescents and their families. He is passionate about serving a diverse set of clients and ensuring equitable access to care.

Treatment Approach:

James always works from a strength-based and person-centered approach that integrates trauma-focused, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, and other evidenced-based treatments. He works collaboratively with the client and family to determine which approach will work best for their needs and goals.
