Education and Training:
Dr. Harle completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University, majoring in Biology, and then attended medical school at the University of Washington. His general psychiatry residency was completed at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, followed by his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital
Work experience:
Dr. Harle has worked in many different clinical settings over the years, including private practice outpatient offices, inpatient psychiatric units, state psychiatric hospital units, university clinics, juvenile justice settings, and child and family community mental health clinics.
Works with:
Children, adolescents, and their families from birth to late adolescence.
Treatment approach:
Dr. Harle is invested in thoroughly exploring the nature of presented concerns to determine the most effective and acceptable way of offering help and support. He values empirically-supported diagnostic and multimodal treatment approaches (including education, therapy/counseling for children and families, medication when appropriate, movement/exercise, social connection, and meaning/purpose) and recognizes that all individuals are unique and should be approached as such.
