Kacey completed her Master of Arts in Social Work at the University of Chicago. She also received her undergraduate degree in Social Work and Music Performance from the University of New Hampshire.
For the last 15+ years, Kacey has worked in combination of roles as a social worker. She worked in the school setting for 4 years before transitioning to working at Sendan Center to work individually with children and their families. In addition, Kacey has worked as a Social Worker at our local hospital, providing care for a wide variety of our community members.
Kacey enjoys working with children and adolescents, particularly those who are going through challenging times behaviorally or emotionally. Kacey also welcomes and encourages caregiver participation to help ensure a collaborative and family-centered approach.
Kacey approaches therapy from a person-centered, strengths-based perspective that integrates evidence-based treatments including: cognitive behavioral treatment, dialectical-behavioral, and caregiver coaching. She works collaboratively with your child and family to determine what approach will best work for your family.
