Karlee completed her Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling and her Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Neuroscience at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA.
Karlee has worked as a Case Resource Manager at Developmental Disabilities Administration, serving adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families. She has also worked as a Research Study Assistant at Harborview Medical Center as a part of a collaborative care intervention team supporting adults with trauma, substance abuse, and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Karlee works with children, adolescents, and their families. She has a strong passion for serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families; this includes support for caregivers and siblings of children with disabilities.
Karlee works from a Person-Centered, Multicultural framework and integrates evidence-based approaches depending on each person’s unique needs and goals such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She works collaboratively with each client to determine the best approach for them.
