
Paulina completed her Master of Education in school counseling and her clinical mental health counseling practicum at Western Washington University. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in psychology and communication arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is established as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Paulina has experience counseling clients on issues of stress and anxiety management, grief and loss, childhood trauma, interpersonal conflicts, and developmental transitions. She works to bring cultural respect and humility to every session and hopes to support both the individual and family system.
Paulina also draws from school counseling experience where she provided individual and small group counseling to students from diverse backgrounds. She worked closely with students, families, and staff to help facilitate a safe, equitable, and fun school environment. As a former swimmer and coach, Paulina is passionate about fostering positive experiences in sports.
Paulina works with children, adolescents, and their families. She is committed to supporting diversity and promoting equitable access to care.
Paulina aims to provide a safe, supportive environment for everyone she works with. She uses a strengths-based lens to empower each child, teen, and their families to help them reach their goals. Paulina utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-focused treatment, and other evidence-based treatments to guide sessions.
