Executive Functioning Skills Group
Don’t let your Executive Functioning skills melt away over the summer!
This summer, Sendan is offering group executive functioning coaching sessions for teenagers!
What is Executive Functioning Coaching?
Executive functioning (EF) coaching provides support for children and teens who struggle to meet the day-to-day demands of home and school. These children may show poor awareness or inconsistent skills with time, situational awareness (difficulty reading the room), organization, planning, problem-solving, and other skills required to notice and manage everyday tasks and challenges. Most are also self-directed learners who demonstrate unique points of view, talents, passion, and creativity, but can tend to be very “out of step” with the expectations of their teachers and parents.
Sendan provides year-round one-on-one EF coaching, and we are excited to expand our coaching services by offering drop-in group sessions online this summer. Summer is the perfect time to start building and practicing EF skills so that kids can go into the next school year with a full toolbox and greater confidence in their own abilities!

“This is a special world you are about to step into! A place where you can be yourself and any character you can imagine, all without fear of judgment. A place where ‘mistakes’ are celebrated and accepted. With your fellow improvisers, you will weave stories that have never been told, laugh together, learn to treasure the moment, forget your troubles for a time, and discover a wonderful secret- ANYONE can improvise! Can’t wait to tell stories with you all! Side effects may include: Mindfulness, relaxation, uncontrollable laughter, unexpected friendships, daydreaming about improv, spontaneously ‘doing voices’, ability to seamlessly reframe awkward social situations, and becoming fluent in speaking gibberish” – Tyler Schexnayder, LABA |
